| 研究内容 Abstract |
国立・社会保障人口問題研究所の将来人口推計によれば，2005年から25年の20年間における老年人口割合（すなわち高齢化率）の上昇幅が大きい上位3県は，いずれも大都市圏郊外に位置する埼玉，千葉，奈良である。これらの県の高齢化が急速に進むのは，上記の20年間に団塊世代が高齢者に達するからだとされる。彼らの多くは高度経済成長期に非大都市圏から大都市圏に流入し，最終的に大都市圏郊外に定着したと考えられているが，それを全国レベルで明確に証明した研究はない。そこで本研究では，おもに団塊世代とそれに近いコーホートについて，小地域人口統計とGISを用いて長期的な人口変動とその空間的パターンを提示し，ひいては大都市圏の高齢化のメカニズムを解明することを目的とする。こうしたメカニズムの解明にあたっては，年齢特化係数，コーホート累積社会増加比などの指標値をメッシュ単位に算出し，その空間的パターンの長期的推移を考察する。 |
