Abstract 過疎化や高齢化が進み、地域の活力が急速に失われつつある地方圏と比べると、産業基盤が整っており、人口も増勢を保っている神奈川県の経済は、それほど深刻な状態ではない。しかし、今後減少する人口に見合う施策の展開が求められており、さらなる地域社会の発展を目指し、地域に密着した産業振興、地域コミュニティの活性化などが課題となっている。
県東部が大都市・工業地帯、県中部は近隣大都市のベッドタウンとしての色彩を強め、県西部や南部には観光やレジャーの名所が多数存在しているように、神奈川県は、エリアによって特徴がある。
そこで、神奈川県内の複数の市部において、その賑わいの中心地であり商業を中心とした都市機能の集積場所である中心市街地を対象にして、人の流れデータを用いて、公共交通の利用動向や住宅地から中心市街地までの移動の特徴、公共交通とその地域・中心市街地の関係について詳細かつ定量的に分析する。そして、そこで得られた結果から、それぞれの市部内の事業者など複数の主体の視点を踏まえながら、活性化に向けた基礎資料を導出する。Kanagawa prefecture's economy, where the industrial base is in place and the population also keeps increasing, compared with the depopulated and aging society and the rapidly losing regional vitality, the economy in Kanagawa prefecture is not in such a serious condition. However, development of policies corresponding to the decreasing population is demanded, aiming at the further development of the local society, industrial promotion closely tied to the area, revitalization of the local community etc. are the subjects.
So, targeting the central urban area in some cities in Kanagawa, which is the center of its bustle and the center of urban functions centered on commerce, using the flow data of people, the utilization trends of public transportation and houses characteristics of movement from the ground to the central urban area, detailed and quantitative analysis of the relation between public transportation and its region / central urban area. Based on the results obtained there, we derive basic materials for revitalization based on the viewpoints of multiple entities such as business operators in each city.
