CSISでは、1998年の設立以来、様々な空間データやサービスを「研究用空間データ基盤」として整備し、国内外の研究者の方々に共同研究として利用していただくことで、空間情報科学に関する研究を支援・推進しています。詳しくは概要ページをご覧ください。また、共同研究は年度単位で実施しています。各種申請手順については説明書をご確認ください。

Since its establishment in 1998, CSIS maintains a Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) for Research Use, providing a wide range of spatial datasets and services to support and advance research in spatial information science. These resources are available to researchers in Japan and abroad through Joint Research Programs. For more information, please see the Overview page. Joint Research is conducted on a Japanese fiscal-year basis from April to March. For application procedures, please refer to the Manual.
