Abstract 浮世絵は世界的に有名な美術品です。才能ある絵師たちが描いた絵の中で、緑の部分は最も重要な要素です。私はこの「緑の部分」の中の「木」に注目して、これらの絵から江戸時代の緑の環境の復元を試みます。本研究で使用する絵画は、江戸時代の代表的な絵師が描いた浮世絵の風景画『名所江戸百景』、『東海道五拾三次』、『木曽街道六十九次』などです。樹木が描かれた場所と樹木の種類や量を読み取ることで、江戸時代の緑地環境を推定します。また推定した緑地環境を用いて、江戸の昔の風景と現在の風景との対比を行うこともできます。参考にする情報としては、浮世絵だけでなく、文献・書籍・写真・図面などの情報も収集、分析し、緑地環境の推定に利用します。
Ukiyo-e is a famous art piece in the world. The green parts in paintings which are drawn by some talented painters are the most important components. Therefore, I tend to focus on the 'trees' among these ‘green parts’ to find out the green environment in Edo period from these paintings. As for the paintings which I want to focus, are some landscape paintings in ukiyo-e, which drawn by some representative artists in Edo period, 'Meisho Edo Hyakkei (One Hundred Famous Views of Edo)' ,'Tokaido Goju San Tsugi (Fifty-three Stages of the Tokaido)' and 'Kiso Kaido Rokujuku Tsuji (Sixty-nine Stages of the Kisokaido)',etc. are the main research subjects, and the green space environment in the Edo period can be observed from the positions of trees, the species of trees, the quantity of the trees, and also we can find out the contrast between the past and the present view in Edo (now is Tokyo). In addition to ukiyo-e prints, information from documents, books, photographs, and drawings will be collected and analyzed for use in estimating the green space environment.
