研究内容
Abstract

本研究は、東京の多文化商店街における外国人エスニック系経営者の店舗立地特性に着目し、商業集積の過程で生じる空間的分布の傾向や構造的特徴を検討するものである。主な研究対象として池袋北口地区を取り上げる。 近年、外国人人口の増加に伴い、東京の一部地域では特定のエスニック系経営者を中心とした商業集積が形成されている。これらの多文化商店街は、店舗の階層分布、可視性、賃料水準、言語景観などにおいて、従来の日本型商店街とは異なる空間的特徴を示している。 本研究は「空間の生産」の枠組みに基づき、物質的空間、言説・制度環境、日常的使用の三層から分析を行う。現地調査、空間データ分析、および店舗経営者・不動産エージェントへの半構造化インタビューを通じて、立地選択行動とその背景条件を整理する。
