研究内容
Abstract

世界には数多くの世界遺産が存在する。これらの世界遺産は、世界各地の人類全体にとっての遺産として、損傷や破壊からの脅威から守られ、保存されるべきものとして設けられている。一方で、これらの遺産は経済効果も生み出していると考えられる。人口が都市に集中し、地方が過疎化している日本において、地域振興の観点からも世界遺産の登録が行われている。本研究では、日本における世界遺産の経済効果に焦点を当て、分析を行う。具体的には、比較的最近に世界遺産として登録された富岡製糸場を事例に、登録前後の周辺地域における雇用、地価、法人税収入などの変動を調査し、その結果を基に考察する。さらに、分析の範囲を広げて他の世界遺産も対象として取り上げる予定である。
