Abstract Urban green space planning has traditionally relied on field surveys and municipal records. While valuable, they are often constrained by limited sample sizes, high costs, and a lack of user-centered perspectives. Mobility data reveal how and how often parks are used, yet provide little insight into visitors' subjective experiences. Conversely, perception data from online reviews capture sentiment and qualitative experiences but cannot reflect actual visitation patterns. This separation limits our ability to understand mismatches between perceived park quality and real-world use. As a result, planners lack systematic tools to identify underutilized yet well-loved parks, overused but poorly perceived spaces, and areas with latent demand or hidden barriers. Bridging perception and behavior is therefore essential for more equitable, human-centered, and adaptive urban green space planning. This project aims to integrate multimodal perception and behavior data using GeoAI to better understand urban park use and experience.
