Abstract 東京には数多くの産業が集積しており、従業者の分布には産業ごとに様々な特徴がある。こうした特徴が形成される要因としてはまず、同種産業の集積立地による利益や、取引関係にある他産業との隣接立地による利益が考えられる。またこの他に、道路や鉄道などのインフラストラクチャーや用地、情報通信基盤の存在なども集積の誘因として考えられる。言い換えれば、従業者の分布特性はそうした集積の利益や誘因を反映したものである。従って、分布特性を分析することにより、集積の利益や誘因を明らかにすることができると考えられる。またその結果を経年比較することにより、産業の立地要因の変化を捉えることができるだろう。これらを空間統計の手法を用いて明らかにすることが、本研究の目的である。東京大都市圏においては、1990年代に業務核都市が指定され、都心部に過度に集中した都市機能の分散が進んだ。一方最近では、丸の内・大手町や天王洲、隅田川沿岸などに大型オフィスビルの竣工が相次いだ。こうした変動の中で先述のような集積の利益や誘因を明らかにすることは、適切な産業配置・誘致政策に資すると考えられる。
