研究内容
Abstract

首都圏では高度経済成長期に人口集中が進み、通勤時の混雑や長時間通勤などの交通問題が深刻化した。この問題を解消する策の一つに相互直通運転が挙げられる。相互直通運転を行うことで旅客は乗り換えがなく都心部へアクセスすることが可能となり利便性が向上し、より郊外からの通勤も容易となるため人口の郊外化が起きる。本研究では、対象を営団地下鉄(現・東京メトロ)9路線・都営地下鉄4路線およびそれらと相互直通運転を行う各路線に定め、昭和55年(1980年)から平成22年(2010年)までを対象期間とし、5年ごとの地下鉄網整備状況と国勢調査メッシュデータを用いて相互直通運転による地下鉄の郊外延伸とその沿線地域の人口や年齢構造との関係性について考察を行う。なお、1kmメッシュを1区画として路線から2km圏内を沿線地域と定義して研究を行う。
