Abstract 近年、山間部を中心にクマやシカ、イノシシなどの野生動物が人間の居住地域に出没する事例が急増することで深刻な社会問題となっており、持続可能性に配慮しつつも早急かつ効果的な対応が求められている。本研究では、日本に生息する代表的な哺乳類（ツキノワグマなど）を生態系の指標として用い、その分布の変化を、人口や職業構成、土地利用などの社会経済的要因と、河川・森林などの環境的要因をパラメーターとした時系列分析を行う。各データはGIS上で構築し、ロジスティック回帰分析を用いて、哺乳類の分布に影響を与える要因を明らかにする。本研究の成果は、社会―生態システムの理解を深め、持続可能な社会の実現に向けた国土計画の立案に資するエビデンスとしての活用が期待される。
